COURSE RESULTS:
Successful completion results in a Diploma of Yoga recognised with Yoga Australia which gives access to membership and viable yoga insurance. On graduation you will be ready to teach.

COURSE DISCRIPTION

This is an in-depth, comprehensive course that teaches the theoretical and practical skills to enable the successful teaching of yoga. You will learn about the history of yoga, yoga philosophy and old writings and all the theoretical knowledge and skills of the practices that make up an interesting and enjoyable yoga class.  The course has a strong and enjoyable self development component. Teaching skills will be taught to a high level.

COURSE SUBJECTS INCLUDE:
History of Yoga, Yoga Theory and Yoga Practices, Teaching Methods and Techniques, Sanscrit, Anatomy for Yoga, Meditation, Yoga Philosophy and the levels of Being, Bandhas, Mudras, Pranayama, and Yoga Nidra.

GLENDA GOODING

the teacher of this registered course, is a Level 3 Yoga Teacher (most experienced) and the course is registered with Yoga Australia.  She has initiated, managed and taught yoga in two successful yoga centres. The first centre was sold in order to undertake a Bachelor of Arts with Monash University majoring in Sociology and History/Politics.

Glenda has 30 years of yoga practice, teaching and study, and has taught yoga in corporate venues, community centres and gyms. Glenda brings and shares her wide knowledge in this enjoyable course that will bring you to up to a high standard.
